I think that's dated. After 2008 all of a sudden you had a whole slew of people who were now unemployed through no poor choices of their own--in fact, through the poor choices of Wall St.

We certainly had no problem giving billions/trillions to Wall St. because of their poor choices, yet some feel by giving the regular joes assistance we are now enabling parasites.

Eynon I hear you but I'm sure you're aware that the stance of the TPM and many people here is that all poor people are simply lazy parasites who won't get a job. Therefore we should get rid of the welfare programs.
