Still no discussion of soft money, or why pols grant access in return for donations if donations are meaningless, etc.

So you end up beholden to those who donate to you, right? I mean, why do you think pols trade access for cash? Bc they need cash to win. If you need cash to win you don't think any pol, ever, has ever thought "I should vote X bc otherwise I'll lose donations from Y, and then I might not win?"

You need me to define soft money for you? Are you really a lobbyist?

What about being primaried or having a more left or more right opponent run in the general to sink your odds? You don't think special interest groups use such tactics to persuade legislators to vote in certain ways?
