It feels to me like the list of questions was released by the Trump admin as a pretext to establish victimhood and that maybe the leak to NBC News regarding the "tapping" of Cohen's phone was just an extension of that strategy. Release the information that they can then claim is evidence of a witch hunt.

They've actually already done this before...and this seems a lot like something Trump might've done before POTUS. So hey, he's dumb and he's becoming predictable.
