I'm gonna call it their point of view because at least they can advocate it without sounding like a retard being flogged with a 2x4.
Anyways, I always laugh when people confuse their epic childhood memories ("I stood up to my bully, why can't you?") with some sort of accurate representation of reality. Go ahead and fight back - and when you get stomped, and the bullying continues mercilessly, now with the knowledge that they will win... what now?
Do you guys actually think the schoolyard works like that? If you lose, you're done, and in some schools, if you win you can just expect a group beating.
It's hard to reconcile your opinions with the idea of you guys being adults.
