I don't have a problem with gambling, personally. I love the rush, and I enjoy taking risky positions and actions.
With that being said, let's be real. All of these investments are gambles. Just to different degrees. Why not just recognize that?
What you're saying is like, yeah sometimes I play slots, sometimes blackjack if I'm feeling like not losing a bunch of money, and sometimes I like to gamble the house away.

The difference is you can beat the market but you can't beat the house. It's entirely plausible you know some material information or have what you think is a sound theory as to why X asset or investment will increase. But if you show up at the roulette table, you know you have a 52% chance of losing money or whatever. There is no edge and in the long run you lose.
