But why not take him down? He'd been arrested over 30 times, probably not the best guy in society to just let go.

I feel we should of been more infuriated when that kid got off scotch free with emotional distress after getting drunk and hitting a car killing 4 people.

How about the police just calmly talk with the guy, explain why he needs to come in, and take the time to really communicate? What's the goddamn rush these days?
