You know - I'm kinda happy when the Administration isn't quick to jump to conclusions. If a situation requires immediate action, then one needs to make immediate decisions. But, in this case, there was no immediate reaction needed. So, why does it matter if a speech is made 3 hours after or 3 weeks after?

Personally, I'd rather someone tell me, "After exhausting all sources and vetting all statements, here is our conclusion" than "We don't know exactly what happened, but here is what we think".

Well, yes and no.

Yes, the TP people wanted nothing to do with him but they're the ones that need to be purged, and everybody agrees (that I've read so far, who's not on FOX or all the other Usual Suspects) that what the GOP needs in 2016 is their own Clinton (Bill). Aka a moderate/center-right candidate. He certainly fits that bill.

But yes, if those same people are still calling the shots and cutting the checks at that point, he's doomed.

Speaking of doomed, with those people at least: Chris Christie. Once a GOP darling he committed the capital offense of not hating Obama enough, so he is persona non grata #1 at this time.

Liberals only gave a damn about Bin Laden after 9-11. They didn't give a damn about terrorist attacks or Americans killed by terrorists until 9-11 and Bush was president.

I don't really care what our resident "middle of the road" leftie thinks of the conservative party. They need to worry about themselves before worrying about others.
