if it's a valid analogy there is no disagreeing. and it's a valid analogy. so either argue within the confines of the analogy or anything you say otherwise is just meaningless.

it's like knowing what a metaphor is but disagreeing that "But soft! What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun" is a metaphor.
it's just...no. it just doesn't work that way. you either accept it as a metaphor or you don't. there is no accepting it and then disagreeing that it is.
