We teach our kids about the value of things, and how to judge others based on the things they have. Thats why the bully steals your kids nice tennis shoes. Many buy things in an attempt to impress others, or to fit in, (keep up with the Jonse's). Probably to hide some low self esteem they may have about themselves.I never did play that game, and have no plans to start.
The hardest part of doing nothing is knowing when your done.

I think we need to change our mindset to take only what we need, not take all we can get. A primitive tribe can almost exist indefinitly because they only take what they need. If their is excess, its probably never absured excess like it is in our modern materialistic world. When is enough, enough? We really don't like to ask ourselves that, but we shure need to, and soon.
