I can think of plenty good reasons. Ripe for abuse, but plenty good reasons.
No cameras in:
- public restrooms
- government buildings (where sensitive documents may be housed)
- private buildings where the owner's don't want pictures taken
I mean, just think about bringing a video or still camera into a building where the people there might ask you to put it away, and that's a place where it'd be appropriate.
But, like I said, it can easily be abused. Of course, not that this isn't happening already. Ever noticed the small print on the back of every FCC-approved device? It says something to the effect of "This device will not interfere with other devices, but will accept interference." In other words, the FCC already has the ability to shut down communications to your device.
