As a white guy, if I was a lawyer there is no way I could be a prosecutor and sleep at night. I'm not some wide-eyed idealist who thinks that people shouldn't be held responsible for their actions, but our corrections system is so f**k up that I can't understand what type of sadist you'd have to be to willingly pursue a career in sending people to jail, even if they commit crimes.
The thing is, I know most of our society sees it the other way around. They wonder how a defense attorney can sleep at night. I hold defense attorneys in very high regard. Absolutely nothing wrong about getting a guilty person off the hook with your lawlyer powers. I joke around a lot on here but I seriously think eynon is a hero.
