I don't think anybody is saying the NBA ' S actions should be prevented by the guvt. Just thst it's a slippery slope.
Another example is the Mozilla guy. He literally lost his job for expressing beliefs thst were mainstream a few years ago and are still.very widely held.
I find his views backward, but do we really want to live in a society where you can have your life destroyed because of your beliefs?

Also keep in mind how quickly the winds shift on what's offensive and what isnt. For all we know something innocuous today may be taboo in 5 years. Some guy digs up a few Internet posts and BAM you're out of a job.
