Right, Prof. That's just it. The vote is no longer about judging from a legal or moral standpoint how bad his actions were. It's about eliminating a major problem. This is is business at the end of the day and he's gotta go.

You own the Condo, BUT if you violate the rules/contract the homeowners association or condo board can fine you or if it is in the contract, evict/force the owner to sell..

Sterling owns a team in the NBA.. He's not an employee, the NBA isn't the employer. BUT he is part of the NBA and has to abide by the rules, laws and contracts.. If he doesn't, the NBA has the final say.

Am I wrong in that they should just base it on the landlord behavior--that wasn't private info--and say it was this taping scandal that pointed them to that?

Also, is there some sort of "ethics" clause in their constitution/agreement for owners?

I think the point is here that sure you're allowed to be racist if you want, in this country.

Just not an owner of an NBA team, because it's their league/their rules.

Yeah, it is strange in that his comments were leaked after he was illegally taped so he's both the villain but also somebody who's privacy was clearly violated. Back to that horse out of the barn thing, though.

I also wonder what her motivation was, because the only reason I could see somebody doing that--and she's a piece of work from what I hear--is if they were going to blackmail you for $$$. But the tape's out so too late for that.

Also strange: how did the NBA not know his history of being a racist landlord, and those lawsuits. That wasn't exactly hidden.

The whole thing is just weird.
