Ueber I don't think something like crystal meth or Krokodil should be legal but it's time to start looking at this from a treatment/education perspective and stop criminalizing it which serves only people who make money the more people who are in jail.

Yes, once drugs are legal somebody like the cartels could conceivably go legit. But it would certainly put the brakes on the heinous violence. Here and there.

Say we give them amnesty. What does that say to the millions of people who came here legally and have been going through the BS red tape overthe years to earn citizenship? What about the immigrants who served in our military on the promise of becoming citizens, only to be deported when their contracts ran out? Our government spends billions to house illegal immigrants while we still have homeless, jobless and helpless Americans out there. At this point, it is turning into de facto foreign aid.
