People are wrongfully convicted all the time. Especially minorities. But if we are to have rule of law, then a convicted person is guilty and that's that unless an appeals court says otherwise. When I was a kid I had an interest in becoming a trial lawyer but understanding this reality made me decide I probably don't have the stomach for it.

lets talk about the legitimacy of trial by jury

I don't accept the idea that 12 random people off the street have the capacity to fulfill this sort of function. People are easily manipulated by legal professionals.

you won't get a fair trial unless you have big money to spend on a competent lawyer

so saying he was tried by a jury of his peers is meaningless.

Going off on tangents really isn't helping your case. Unless you have evidence that this man was wrongfully convicted, you pretty much wasted your time.
