As I mentioned earlier, some form of reciprocity or additional fees disguised as such are in place for almost every country in SA for US citizens. You eff with my peeps I'm going to eff with yours.
Brazil was one of my tougher visa gets, and a past coworker of mine was turned down for no reason. Just a random draw to f**k with Tio Sam.
