You can always tell how fat a country is by seeing how people act on an escalator. The more walking up or down a moving escalator, the healthier that country. In Japan, most of Europe etc, people stand to the right because the left is for people walking. In america people stand on both sides because the simple thought of walking up or down a moving escalator is completely bizarre.
Americans are fat f**k because we don't walk. It's shocking how few steps the average person takes in a day. I see people take elevators up one floor, drive next door to their neighbors house, ride scooters around the grocery store and stand on moving walkways at the airport. No surprise the places that are the least obese are the ones where people walk a ton, like NYC.
It's also just more socially acceptable to be f**k huge. Black women run around morbidly obese and say they have curves or are thick. Meathead bros drink 4 protein shakes a day to get jacked and then turn round at 30. Shaming fat people here is considered some sort of cruelty, as if me pointing out that 5th donut might not help your diabetes is false. Portion control is literally nonexistent, and every restaurant is all your can drink for anything thats non alcoholic. It's all good though, Medicare will pay for that.
