It's not exaggerated. Some of my better looking friends get cat-called way more often that that every time they roll through Harlem. If you are a good looking girl walking through Harlem I all but guarantee you won't be able to go a 6 minute stretch without getting catcalled by MULTIPLE men. It's extremly common in certain places. But like I've said, I have never once seen a woman cat-called in the upper east side. I'm sure it happens, but clearly not as often.
