Sorry Boris, already addressed that.
The only "side" I'm on is common sense. If that happens to be the left's position on an issue, that doesn't make me "left." Logical fail.
-There is a common sense solution to a problem
-The left holds that position
-Therefore, I am the left
Um...
Speaking of which, when do you ever hear me talking up the left as being what we all should be.
And as I pointed out previously, threads about Obama/the left that I start are ghost towns. So what's the point?
Try as you might, you can't just shoehorn everybody into either/or.
That said, the right has simply been fascinating for years because they're out of their f***ing minds. Of course that's going to make for more compelling threads because conflict = story. It's irresistible. Just like talking about some epic celebrity meltdown.
And, as I've stated REPEATEDLY, I firmly believe we are a better nation with a healthy Republican party. Pointing out how demented it's become--they provide us with daily examples--isn't showing some "bias."
How many times have I said just here alone that somebody like Huntsman is what the GOP should aspire to? Why would I bother if I were in the tank for "the left"?
