I wonder if non-violent direct action would be more effective at the moment.
For instance, there are tons of low-paid, under-appreciated, unskilled workers in this world. What prevents them from sabotaging the operations of those who exploit them? It needn't even involve property destruction - simply taking twice as long to make a burger or twice as long to clean a building, on a large enough scale, would put tremendous pressure on the financial class to fix the issue of compensation.
We also need to start getting police unions back into the larger labour movement. We could definitely use their help, seeing as how they are the ones who are doing the dirty work for the upper class.
