You misunderstand

Most people, not just men, don't notice the many subtle details that go into a good presentation. They just respond positively to good design when they experience it. Perhaps women in general are a little more aware of how the principles of design function in the realm of personal accoutrement than men are in our society but I'm not venturing an opinion on why that may be here.

It's the same principle whether it is architecture, an outfit and makeup, an open house, or a sample display at a grocery store. If you are aware of all of the right cues and prepare them effectively you will have successful presentation.

No, feminism is not an obsolete movement yet and probably never will be. Even when the last of the knuckle dragging dinosaurs have shuffled off this mortal coil, intense vigilance will still be needed to ensure we don't slip back to the bad old ways.
