I don't think people would revolt. And if they revolt over a properly passed law, kill them. It's mostly the sort of people that the US would be better off without anyway.

A half dozen hillbillies almost got into a firefight with federal law enforcement. When you say revolt, do you mean small scale incidents like htat or an actual revolt?
Either way, if American citizens can't find it in them to obey American laws and want to use armed force against the American government in furtherance of disobeying those laws.....f**k em. I'm not going to be held hostage to bad policy because they are insane and violent. We found out during the civil war and the Jim Crow era that you can't use kid gloves with the rednecks. The only thing they understand is force. So if we have to kill them to get them to obey the law, fine. That would be their choice.
