I'm just smelling a typical soshulizm argument. Point I'm making is why is it such a big deal to invest in employees (that's what I meant when I said people...though I don't know why the idea of "the people" is so dirty as to be automatically associate with Lenin) to X degree, but its trivial enough to spend 3.3 million on a promotion that might not even mean dick. Its half a year's health coverage...risked on a free pizza giveaway.
That seems kinda lame to me. Surely there is value to be had in building a solid employee base?
