I just don't like when people abuse rules, and I think turn about is fair play. In other words, I would much prefer if Congress acted like responsible adults, but if they choose instead to abuse the "advice and consent" role they have, then the President should be allowed to get around it by abusing his recess appointment power.
I realize that's not much of a legal argument, but then I'm not a lawyer, and I prefer to argue what should be, rather than what the correct legal interpretation is.

Correct. Yeah he may be violating the rules, but when you have a congress whose only goal has been to literally obstruct everything he does, I don't blame him.
