What's so mind-blowing to me is that in 1994 there's that video of Cheney talking about why we didn't go into Baghdad after Desert Strom, describing what a quagmire it would be and all the unintended consequences it would have.

All which came exactly true when he turned around and did exactly that in 2003.

Actually I do: cowardice. Everybody went along with this farce because if you didn't you would get smeared as "unpatriotic" and probably have your flag pin confiscated.

Fun fact: while everybody and their cousin was pimping this war on cable "news"--only one person wasn't going along. His name was Phil Donahue. Because of it, even though he was MSNBC's #1 rated show, he was fired.

Obama didn't vote against it cause he was a state senator at the time, but he publicly opposed it. Bernie Sanders not only voted against it but accurately predicted what would happen on the floor of the House.
