I thought it went without saying that "human suck" is a turn of phrase. Should of put in a disclaimer, I guess.
Specifically which limits did I ignore. Please tell me, because I just went back through my posts and yours and I don't see where I actually ignored anything...
Please quote me actually saying things, as opposed to just claiming I'm saying things.
But anyways...yes, people just being evil, selfish, greedy, violent, stupid, or whatever else is very much a major consideration here. The difference between our interpretations, as far as I can tell, is that you primarily blame problems like poverty and violence on society by extension of laws or sociological expectations...whereas I lean more towards blaming people themselves for doing things that lead to these outcomes. Your take on this suggests that because society can be blamed for this, society can be engineered to correct it. Apologies if I've misread you on that. I'm more of the thinking that these outcomes are a constant, and so society can only be structured to limit the damage. Thus the rainwater analogy that you denigrated.
I then went on at some length about my opinions on that topic. But you completely ignored me, assuming I guess that I actually meant something else altogether?
None of this stuff is particularly complicated. Dunno how I'm not communicating my opinions properly...because you keep responding as if I'd said something totally different.
