I haven't spoken a single word in defense of Syria. so that's not anything you can hang on me.

So basically, because we're the biggest bully on the block, we have the moral authority to impose Israel's will on Syria.

You know what I just realized. This is terribly terribly sad. You guys have given up.

You especially eynon are not this stupid. You can clearly see the logical and practical problems with your position. You just truly don't think america has the capacity to change things for the better in this world. You just assume any action we take in syria will end up being a boondoggle like iraq, or pissing off a bunch of people who will later blow us up.

First of all, thats a much more respectable psoition to take. You should just say it instead of trying to equovicate assad with obama and all this othercrazy out of touch stuff. Secondly, you might be right. That in and of itself is sad, but it's also pretty sad that average americans like you truly dont have the confidence in this country or goverment to be able to make effective change for good abroad, even when we really want to.

Such is the legacy of Iraq. Syrians will get gassed because of Bushes mistake. It must be hanting to be an ex-president and realize such things.
