I think a lot of these people have shortcomings that only they can correct. Much as you libs may want to social engineer society, certain issues in low income communities are purely the product of a terrible culture. We can debate why the culture is like that, or the historical and social reasons...but at the end of the day none of that is a solution. The only solution is these people realizing their way of life is suboptimal, and make a concerted effort to change. Make sure your kids go to f**k school. Stop having children at 16. Learn to delay gratification.
Everyone wants to make every excuse in the world for these people. At the end of the day they live in a country with opportunities available to them that most of the worlds people would kill for. I'm sick of hearing excuses why someone living in free government housing and eating food paid for by the taxpayer, is somehow to poor to learn to read or do math.
