I'd like to take an aside from the bickering to note two things:
First, I think this debate is very healthy. As broken robot said, progressives need to figure out who they are at the moment.
Second, when I think about feminism as a political movement, I see it as a very successful one that has particularly achieved a lot of victories through the democratic process. So why should feminists be worried about the racial implications? Because very few feminists victories have occurred through a militant separatist movement. Big tent and all that. Be concerned about equality for all (which as I've stated is already a feminist tradition) and you have much greater chances of a broad coalition that can prevail in meaningful change.
