There is no set, specific set of practices that are "right" in a religion. So there is no such thing as "true Islam" or anything like that. There is just how it is practiced. And right now practitioners of Islam start trouble in the name of Islam (whether you agree with their interpretation or not) at a far higher rate than practitioners of other religions. I think this is self-evident. The question for society as a whole and Muslims who wish to engage in it* is why this is.

*Muslims who do not engage in terrorism are under no obligation to defend Islam to others. Putting this burden on Muslims who do not support terrorism is bigotry, IMO.

I never suggested sending people to concentration camps bud. Or rounding up American Muslims. So, once again, what are you talking about?

I don't excuse crimes against Muslims. In fact I've consistently opposed intervention in almost all circumstances. However I think it's time that the Muslim world be treated like adults, and not children. Part of that is to stop making excuses for the cultural beliefs that border on actual retardation.

The idea that you can separate religion into pure and unpure forms is nonsense. The men who carried out the Paris attacks were Muslims. So much so that they were willing to die for their beliefs. You can try to excuse that all you want, but the facts are the facts.
