It is absolutely absurd to say that you should run from an intruder because statistically they are there only to steal your shit. My god man, stand up for yourself. The intruder knows your home is your safehaven and he is violating it. Fight for your house and your belongings, not to mention your safety. Hey Ube, what happens if there is an armed lookout right outside the door you take off running out of? Now you have no gun and are confronted with a hostile situation in which you are behind the 8 ball. No thanks.
I'm not a coward. I will stand and fight for my home. I will not run if I am armed. I will follow the law that states I may use deadly force on any intruder, no questions asked. How do I know this? Because it's already happened to me. About 10 years or so ago I heard a noise outside my home and went outside armed with my handgun and flashlight. I saw footprints in the mud, but they led into the darkness. My home is now protected by a 360 degree full night vision video camera system.
People don't realize how they will react until faced with a situation. I know I won't run. I would hope people have the damn balls to defend themselves. I refuse to be driven out of my home by an intruder. They are on my property and as the law states, if they break in, or try to break in, they are automatically a threat and should be neutralized.
I can't wrap my mind around someone who says you should run out of your house if someone is breaking in. That is assuming WAY too much, something I'm not willing to put my life on.
"Police protection" is an oxymoron. Gun laws are like masturbation, they both feel really good, but after you're done you realize you haven't accomplished anything."
