Ah, well, if "feelings" are your basis for your impression I can't really criticize it or find fault with it. Objectively, do you really believe the french system is institutionally more racist and discriminatory than, say, the american or english? Or the people themselves? My own "feelings" from personal experience is that anglo's are much, much more focused on race and social separation thereof, mainly for historical reasons. Not that the french don't have their own brand of discrimination, but it's largely approached from a cultural angle, not a racial one.
