The day after Obama took office the Republican political brass got together and set the agenda that they would NOT lift a finger to fix the economy, or to fix the housing market, they flat out said they not only wouldn't do anything to help, but they'd do everything to block him.

That's the party agenda, and yes the individual GOP politicians feel in line... Millions of people losing their jobs and homes and the GOP didn't give a fvck.. That's good enough reason for me not to vote for anyone in that party again..

and on syria, he drew a red line and said he would intervene, on behalf of a bunch of terrorists. then because of backlash at home thought better of it. putin also took a victory lap on that one

so, eynon how is cheney wrong? realistically (as in realist politics) obama fumbled horribly and cheney is correct
