historically, radical islam is going to be a very temporary problem. The vastly more difficult problem will be how to solve the evils that they're raging against. Not the women's rights and MTV, but the actual spiritual bankruptcy of the money changing hands above them.

I mean the fact that they are raging against something very material.. The fact that market forces have absolutely no respect for their heritage let alone their culture or religious principles... Not that anyone should respect fundamentalist religion, but these people do have a very clear picture of what and who are turning their world upside down. They're not just beheading people because middle eastern people tend towards murderous behavior.
