I don't think that's a new mentality, or that it is off-topic. Emerald is a privileged person talking about other privileged people about how unfair their relative privilege is. This is ancient behavior. We always compare ourselves to those we identify as peers, not according to some objective perspective - in this case, high class females complaining about not being promoted. And that's fine, lest we all agree that everyone should be made equal instead of raised up.

1. women will never, ever take the risks that men are willing to, thus men will always be at the very top. I don't say this as a slight to women int he least bit. I don't know too many women who are willing to live out of their car while starting a company or who are willing to put off marriage / dating for 10-15 years while starting a business. They have other needs to consider.



2. I'm all for (seriously) having their piece of the pie, and it's great. Some of the smartest, hard working people I know are women.but at the same time it's destroying the nucular family which in turn is destroying society.


middle class america, i.e white people, are about a generation or so behind this issue when it comes to african american families, in the sense that we know all too well what the lack of a strong male father at home does for a child. too many kids being raised in single parent homes, too many sons not knowing how a man wakes upa nd takes care of his business everyday, too many women not having a f**k clue what a real man looks like becuase their mommy prohibited their daughter from ever seeing their dad so they go off and get their idea man from a mixture of the twilight series and cosmo magazine lol, thus having more children that will be born out of wedlock to shit parents.


It's a lot easier to send a kid to college off 2 incomes than it is one. a LOT. It's alot easier to help a child with his homework when someone is actually home lol. It's alot easier to make sure your kid isn't shooting up heroin in the garage if you actually have your car in the garage and you are at home.


I have no desire at all to marry a career oriented woman. I make enough money. It's not that I'm not attracted to them or that I'm " scared" of them or that I can't "handle them" it's that I work, on an avg day 12-14 hours a day, if i'm going to actually spend the rest of my life with a woman I would like to come home and have dinner ready is all i'm saying. I don't want to come home after a long day and have to have a competition about whose day was the toughest. And I want kids and I want someone who can actually take care of kids and not have to stay at work too late to keep up with everyone else. I'm not sayign i want a woman that's barefoot and pregnant, but I do not want to marry a female version of me. I want a woman who has a job but her job isn't her life like mine is. I want a woman who comes home at 4-5pm and can do the family thing. I want a woman who an make all our kids PTA meetings and all that good stuff lol.


My best friend, who is a female, is one of these women, smart, (cute lol), driven, ambitious as hell, good head on her shoulders, but she's about to marry basically a pizza delivery guy. No one wants to put up with her lifestyle except the guy who basically lives off her.

Its not that I think career women are evil we just are not compatible

you want to know what's really funny and ironic about all of this pretty much my entire life I've been told by women that I'm not quote unquote hot enough that I'm not a bad boy that I don't have a spark with me that I'm niceand while women appreciated the fact that I worked hard I wasn't adventurous enough for most women I didn't know how to cut lose and have fun and women didn't like that and I had to sit back and accept it because I didn't have a choice

but now that I get older and I say hey this is what I want in a wife I'm called everything but a child of God by pretty much everyone

I've spent my entire teenage and adult life being told that Iwas not good enough you're not going to guilt me into having standards and knowing what I'm compatible
