People segregate themselves. Its been going on since people were invented. Like iron filings in a magnetic field.

Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.

FWIW in the locker room after a game last week there's quite a few CPD/CFD guys who play where I do and man, when the CPD guy started talking about work it started getting REALLY racial and really uncomfortable.
So I can testify first-hand that even outside of down south towns you've never heard of or dying cities like Baltimore--it's going on here obviously. And these are otherwise pleasant, nice guys and not hillbillies. Although they were all over 50, if that says anything.
