local people are looting, but the actual destruction of property ballooned fast. I cannot believe people would destroy their own neighborhood like that. Yes, many have had it, but massive protests that shut down everything is very different from massive riots that destroy everything

Everyone is pointing fingers at others. I saw a lot of black 'white supremacists' out there looting, from listening to my liberal friends.

Sure the mayor walked it back now, but there is still an outside influence from people not from the area who were destroying it

Order is tentatively restored. I hope it can be made safe for massive demonstrations to continue even for an indefinite amount of time, but I cannot abide rioting

The police unions need to be disbanded, and significant reforms need to be made regarding complaints. Something like 3k complaints and dozen or so actions taken on those complaints is not acceptable

Watching folks burn down section 8 housing and black owned businesses and looting stores reminds me my opinion of certain segments of US society is 100% accurate and that I'm lucky to be nice and safe and secure surrounded by different demographics in the suburbs.

Will be amusing as shitlibs ponder how many more programs are needed to remedy these problems. They never learn

Doesn't matter if he intended to kill him, it was depraved indifference at best, and he is supposed to uphold the law. I expect he intended to make Floyd hurt really bad to teach him a lesson because he's a piece of shit for a human being, not an "angel". I don't buy into the idea that all cops are bad, but the 3 partners in their inaction over that time shows their indifference as well, allowing someone to do something because they are a cop. It wasn't a rapidly evolving situation that we're Monday morning quarterbacking. It was a continued action over nearly 10 minutes
