I know who Dylan Ratigan is and you're right.

The point was, he said something publicly that was ignorant and the GOP POUNCED on it and ran it as gospel--does anybody fact-check anymore?--creating another horror story narrative that of course was bogus.

So I'm blaming those who didn't even bother to look at his claim. Guess who did? The "left."

He does bear some responsibility for being careless though.

Yeah I know I kind of went off on a bit of a tangent from your point. I just got annoyed reading the parts of the article like when they suggested he might book a speaking gig at CPAC. That too is either very careless or intentionally deceptive to the reader, who is likely to come away thinking that Ratigab is attacking the ACA from the right. The weakness of Ratigan's argument notwithstanding, it's that kind of reaction that promotes the mentality that all liberals must love the ACA and all critics are in the tea party.

Agree that Ratigan should have come up with a better argument if he was going to criticize though.
