First you point out that Canadians were outraged by a lack of action by these males.
Now you are saying that it is our culture to be accepting of it.
Everyone loves a hero, and if anyone wants to step up to the plate, that's fantastic. People all over the world do it every day. But when they don't, there is nothing to be ashamed of - that is just armchair quarterbacking bullshit, the inane ramblings of a person who wasn't there, and would probably piss themselves at the first shot.
And worst of all, you already said you'd do nothing but object - then use remorse by people who made the same choice against them!
