You are totally unhinged if you believe that Trump can beat Hillary in a General Election. Not only has Trump motivated every single minority demographic to vote against him, his appeal in the Republican primary is outweighed by the astronomical negative perception of him by the wider general electorate. And in a debate? With Hillary? If he doesn't walk a fine line he'll lose nearly every single woman voting. Don't forget how crucial women were as a voting block in the last two elections...and let's also not forget the idiotic differences between a primary and a caucus. Lots of this is so localized and so small it can't even hope to represent a broader sentiment - a sentiment that will become increasingly clear when the candidates have been chosen and people actually have to pick.
The negativity towards Trump during a general will increase exponentially as he will be the sole focus - everything comes out and everything talks about him and only him. Hillary is used to that - Trump is not.
Hillary might be less than a good person but she's proficient. Trump is a f**k dumbass.
