I'm all for AHC, and I think medicaid (expanded), is probably the best way to get there. Requiring purchase from private HC ins companies is NOT.

Universal health care. Single payer. My favorite part is all the yokels who scream "socialism!" when they don't seem to realize that we DO pay for all the uninsured ultimately in our current "system," and that we have the highest per-capita health spending in THE WORLD yet not everybody is covered.
But that's all you have to do these days: tell these people they're fighting "socialism" and they'll even line up against things like... clean air.

Building the Interstate system could almost be called a socialist project. Who cares!! I'm glad they did.
