This is really just intended to show how adamant you are about acknowledging reality, which is that there are only 2-4,000,000 jobs being created a year for a nation of 350,000,000. Combined with workplace demographics, you have an actual explanation for why Millenials aren't being hired.

Instead, you think that if Millenials obey -insert mindless HR platitude here- then they'll get hired. Which is of course bullshit. I just really enjoy giving you the opportunity to talk about yourself as if you have any experience getting a job in an economy like this.

Screw getting hired. I would never work for anyone but myself.

Since you don't have to factor in the cost of a fancy corporate HQ and private secretaries etc my services are far more economical.

Of course you have to put up with me wearing blue jeans and topsiders. On the other hand I actually care about my clients as people and want to actually help them.


Resist becoming a corporate drone if you want to keep your soul. There is nothing worse you can be. That's my advice to future generations.

As I mentioned in another thread I have 4 kids, all into their 20's now. I must have told them a million times they were going to have a MUCH harder time getting a good job now compared to when me, and their mother were looking for jobs in the 70's. Years ago you competed with so many millions of other Americans.. Now they compete with millions of Americans and 2 billion Chinese and Indians..

It's MUCH harder now.

I will say this, though. I have noticed something about Millenials in the past couple of days. They sure whine more than other generations.

I don't know, perhaps I'm jaded by my own personality. I've never been one to say, "Oh, I'm part of this group that is oppressed (in some way), so that's why it's so hard for me." To me, that's a cop out. Frankly, I'm too busy trying to figure out how I can get the next job, move up, be a better dad, be a better husband, make the next race, etc. to worry about how hard it may be for some guy who happens to be my age trying to get a job in Kalamazoo because of some nebulous factors.
