Exactly. In no law enforcement context is it realistic to expect 100% effectiveness.

The most powerful and well organized criminal organization in the history of the US, the Italian Mafia, had a HARD rule that they would NOT kill Judges, DA's or cops.. The Mafia had billions of $'s, thousands of soldiers and 10,000's of weapons, yet the knew if they declared war on the government they'd be out of business in less than a year.. Same thing with the Mexican drug gangs... Daily they kill cops and Judges in Mexico, on this side of the border, they do NOT..
So I do have to laugh when I hear people say they arm themselves to 'protect themselves and their families from the government'.. If the government wants your gun, or 10 guns, or your militia of 50 weekend warriors guns, they're going to get them..
Again I am NOT saying we should bad ALL guns.. But be realistic and stop pretending you're are arming yourself because your some damn patriot.
