I've yet to see statistical proof that those people even know that the world orbits the sun. You are far more optimistic than I. I think trump's antics simply ingratiate him with people who are so maddeningly ignorant and out of touch that they don't even see any of this as a problem.
I'd like to believe I'm underestimating people again. Really I would.

He literally said that the media were deliberately attempting to knock trump out. I'm working from that basis.
I already acknowledged that the media was certainly something trump basically hijacked. It was probably the only strategically intelligent thing he's done thus far.
fstar has this reversed. Repeatedly, for years, we see the tears about the "liberal media." Trend holds true, especially now that its transitioned over into "fake news". He blames the media. I blame trump effectively bending the media to suit his goals.
