TBH the reason this shit continues to happen is because on some sort of level the voters that make up each party's base borderline support these actions when their party runs the show. Just like every other topic, when the opposition party does something, they bitch and moan, protest, etc. and call the president a war criminal. When members of their party do the exact same things you get not one single peep out of them, save for some spinning to make it look like it's different but really not. Political parties are politicizing every facet of the American political system and destroying it little by little and therefore I choose to take no part in any of them.
