I'm with Indy here. Both the 2nd amendment crowd and the progressives have done an awful job in response to this huge liberty grab enacted by wall-street. The first because of their twisted view of liberal-economics, and the second because they are little-girls.
Am I advocating violence? no, but I am advocating the threat of violence. Every single progressive and pro-liberty movement in American history has been pushed in part through the threat of violence with one exception*; taxation, the first banking crisis, the enfranchisement, abolition, labor rights, civil rights, etc...
As we've seen the occupy movement did nothing but spread STDs among the young and unwashed. If however in the weeks following the financial collapse a group of citizens, well armed, had peacefully marched down Wall St, there would have been reform. You can blow off antics, you can not blow off the threat of violence.
Violence and liberalism go hand in hand...the 3 great liberal Republics; the UK, the US, and France...were all founded by violent revolution. The American people are dropping the ball here, we're letting our liberal system slip away and be reconstituted in a form that would have made Mussolini proud.
