Your anecdotal evidence is not a valid response to the study Indy. The study said on average it lowers iq by 5 points. If you're already pretty smart then losing 5 points isn't going to make you an idiot. Also since it's on average, you pointing out exceptions wouldn't negate the findings anyway.

i would wager that it was more of a question of chicken and the egg. did they become poth eads because they were dumb or did becoming a poth ead make them dumb? now i'm really only referring to those type of people who will start talking about how you can use hemp to make anything from rope to clothes to dildos to spaceships. i use pot myself, and (hope) it's not doing anything permanent to my mind. i only occasionally use through, but even still, my personal experience with it and how i'm "not stupid" has f**k all to do with the question. similarly "the guy" "you know" has f**k all to do with this conversation. yes someone else, not you, actually posted an argument that was coherent and had to do with the subject, but that doesn't make your opinion worth posting. you posted a fallacy and then proceeded to cry when called out on it
