No one can predict what bridge, levee or water main will fail next. But some problems are widely known, and work is long overdue. But our government still does nothing.

Kane, wonderful post but it doesn't change that corporations are doing it. Oddly, I didn't see a figure for how much Burger King / Tim Horton's would have paid in the USA vs what they are paying as a Canadian corporation. What happens when a Walmart decides to do it? Can our treasury take that hit?
