yes but no French powder = no Saratoga, no Monmouth, no Cowpens, no Gilford Courthouse...ie...all the other major victories leading up to Yorktown.

This isn't US history, but alot of Americans are wrong about it all the time.

I don't think pointing out the inherently subjective nature of historical accounts, or any eye witness account for that matter, is extreme at all
