I wish U.S. Senator Tom Cotton would run for POTUS. He commanded a rifle company in Iraq in the Iraq War as a U.S. Army captain.

But how many veterans of any war are running for POTUS? Only one I know is Jim Webb who led a rifle platoon in Vietnam. Rick Perry flew cargo planes for the Air Force after the Vietnam War. The rest of the field didn't ever serve in the military
